Our Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) programme for tank cleaning operators is available in Dutch, French, English, German, Polish and Romanian. This unique e-learning training fully meets the requirements of SQAS.
Our Dutch- and French-language BBS training covers all elements that are included as exam requirements in the Pontifex exam for the Safety module for tank cleaners. In combination with our BBFS training, participants could also take the Pontifex exam separately after completing our training.
The Safety for Tank Cleaners exam (VvT) is administered by Pontifex Certificatie and was developed in cooperation with the Association of Tankcleaning Companies in the Netherlands (ATCN). Its aim is to raise and maintain the knowledge and skills of employees in the tank cleaning sector. Pontifex administers the exam completely independently of the training. Companies with ATCN recognition are required to employ a number of staff who have passed the exam. More information about the VvT exam is available on the website of Pontifex Certificatie.
The programme consists of a theoretical training that the participant completes independently. The knowledge gained can be practised with multiple-choice practice questions during or after studying each module. After completing the full training, the participant takes a written e-exam. Once the exam has been passed, the system generates a practical assessment form. The supervisor of the tank cleaning operator assesses the employee’s safety behaviour during his or her daily work. By entering the results of this observation into the system, the BBS certificate can then be obtained. The certificate is therefore based on the results of both the theoretical and the practical part. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
The course fee is € 150.00 per participant, excluding VAT. For CTC members we charge a rate of € 140.00, excluding VAT.
